Anisotropy and Physics of the Pacific Lithosphere Experiment (APPLE)

This project examines electrical anisotropy in the oceanic crust and mantle in the Northeastern Pacific arising from crustal cracking and paleo-mantle flow. Check out our newly published reanalysis of the controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) data collected in 2001 and originally analyzed in the 2005 PhD thesis of Scripps graduate student James Behrens.
